Summit FAQs
General Information
-
Building on the momentum from its inaugural year, the Human Potential Summit returns in 2025 as a convening designed to spark a broad movement across companies, workforce development practitioners, and educational partners who are committed to placing human potential at the forefront of their talent strategies. The experience is specifically designed to foster groundbreaking ideas and actionable solutions that kickstart meaningful organizational transformation.
-
The Human Potential Summit is the flagship event and sets the strategic direction for the broader Human Potential Network. This premier network is dedicated to reimagining talent practices at scale, enabling businesses and their talent partners to take action through hands-on learning, strategy development, and peer collaboration.
Following the Summit, the Network will deliver year-round value through programming, thought leadership, regional convenings, and more. Importantly, the relationships forged, solutions developed, and commitments made at the Human Potential Summit will directly inform the Network’s ongoing efforts throughout the year—maximizing its responsiveness to business priorities through strategies that uplift human potential.
Please visit the Human Potential Network page to learn more or get involved.
-
Unlike traditional conferences, the Human Potential Summit prioritizes action over ideas, with attendees serving as actors rather than observers. By making it a curated, invite-only gathering focused on workshopping, real-time problem-solving, experiential learning, and the development of meaningful connections, attendees will leave with actionable strategies they can use to accelerate talent transformation within their own organizations or help scale promising practices to the business community writ large.
Themes and Session Formats
-
The Summit will explore the full spectrum of workforce transformation through immersive, collaborative experiences. In doing so, attendees will dive into innovative strategies for strengthening talent systems—such as turning hiring friction points into opportunities for differentiation, modernizing pipelines to align with evolving talent needs, using data and AI to guide smarter workforce decisions, and building purpose-driven cultures that boost engagement and retention.
-
Every session is designed to be engaging and actionable. Attendees will experience:
Hands-on collaboration through interactive workshops, real-time problem-solving, and field trips that deepen attendees’ understanding of different challenges and allow them to engage with innovations to solve them.
Real-world case studies where leaders share the practical details, challenges, pivots, and breakthroughs behind their most successful initiatives, including how they scaled their approach internally and to other organizations.
Inspiration through keynotes that help them reimagine what’s possible and connect their work to the broader talent transformation movement.
Each day includes a blend of formats to foster attendee engagement, learning, and relationship building, all in support of ensuring the work persists beyond the Summit.
Audience and Participation
-
The Summit brings together 300 visionary leaders who are passionate about unlocking human potential, ready to implement innovative solutions, and bring talent transformation to scale.
These leaders include:
Mission-driven CEOs championing new approaches to workforce, looking to scale strategies through collaboration and visibility
Chief Human Resource Officers and senior HR leaders advancing inclusive, human-centered talent strategies to maximize performance and competitiveness
Forward-thinking business and operations leaders driving tactical talent solutions to improve performance and unlock business value
Executives in philanthropy, education, government, and workforce development supporting business-led talent transformation through partnership, training, and regional initiatives
To maximize impact, companies will be encouraged to send cross-functional attendees (e.g., a business leader and a talent leader or a decision-maker and executor) to foster stronger alignment between strategic priorities and talent investments. This dual-attendee model helps ensure that insights gained at the Summit can be rapidly translated into action and scaled across the enterprise.
-
While many of the seats will be filled through invitations, a percentage of this year’s registrations will be reserved for individuals who apply. Those interested in applying must be able to demonstrate a dedication to the mission of talent development and a belief in human potential aligned with business objectives. Roles we are prioritizing include: CEOs, CHROs, and senior talent and business leaders championing inclusive talent strategies, as well as those in the talent and educational ecosystem that partner with companies to drive change.
While we know there will be fewer spots than the number of individuals interested in attending, there will be other opportunities to engage through the Human Potential Network.
For those wishing to be considered for the Human Potential Summit, please visit our Apply to Attend page. Applications will be accepted through Friday, September 5th at 5:00pm PT. Application decisions will be made in September.
For those interested in getting involved in the Network, please visit the Human Potential Network page.
-
While attendance at last year’s Summit does not guarantee an invitation this year, a portion of seats will be available through a short application process. We also welcome individuals to join the Human Potential Network, which will launch in Fall 2025.
If you are interested in applying to attend the Summit or being involved in the Human Potential Network, please visit the Apply to Attend and the Human Potential Network pages to learn more.
-
The Summit is designed for leaders who are ready to actively participate—not just attend. Attendees are expected to be fully present during all daytime programming, which includes hands-on workshops, peer collaboration, and strategy-building sessions. We ask participants to come prepared to contribute their experiences, engage with others, and help move the work forward. Evening time will be unscheduled and available for informal networking, group dinners, or personal time.
-
We value and welcome every leader who is passionate about this work to join the human potential movement. Once launched, the Human Potential Network will offer various ways to stay engaged, including practical workshops, peer learning opportunities, case study development, and regional events. Many of the insights and tools developed at the Summit will become available to the broader Human Potential Network community, ensuring the impact extends beyond the event.
More information about the Human Potential Network will be available later this year. Please also follow us on Linkedin to stay up to date.
